Ashley Lattal
Ashley Lattal is a lawyer, workplace investigator, and mediator. She takes a balanced and sensible approach to resolving conflict.
Experienced as a lawyer in both the United States and Canada, Ms. Lattal has considerable experience in managing workplace investigations and litigation involving multiple parties and witnesses and significant legal and evidentiary issues.
She has conducted hundreds of investigations into complaints of sexual harassment, bullying, discrimination, workplace violence, conflicts of interest, hostile work environments, and other policy breaches. Ashley produces clear, fair investigation reports based on sound evidence that are useful in the event of litigation or arbitration.
Ashley began her career as a commercial litigator and has significant experience litigating and mediating a wide variety of disputes, including employment, human rights, insurance, shareholder, environmental, and contractual matters. She is a roster mediator with the Ontario Mandatory Mediation Program.
Ashley regularly provides workplace mediation and restoration services, as well as workplace culture assessments.
After graduating from Cornell Law School in 2000, Ashley was called to the bars of New York, Washington, D.C., and Ontario. She worked at a national law firm in Washington, D.C., a national law firm in Toronto and subsequently a litigation boutique in Toronto.
